AirAsia Bengaluru-Kolkata flight makes emergency landing at Bhubaneswar Airport

Bhubaneswar: An AirAsia flight today made an emergency landing at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Odisha capital due to the sickness of a passenger.

According to reports, AirAsia flight 2472 was flying towards Kolkata from Bengaluru when a passenger namely Taimur Ali Khan (33) of Medinipur in West Bengal complained of illness.

Later, the aircraft made an emergency landing at the Bhubaneswar Airport while Khan was shifted to the Capital Hospital here.

Unfortunately, he was declared dead at the hospital. Till last reports came in, the reason behind the death was yet to be ascertained.
