ASBM University hosts 1st convocation; 4 students receive gold medals

Bhubaneswar: ASBM University hosted its first convocation here yesterday with Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal virtually attending the event as Chief Guest.

Besides, State Election Commissioner (SEC) and former Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi joined the event as Guest of Honour.

Four meritorious students from various disciplines–Swagatika Dash and Swastik Rout (MBA), Pallavi Dubey (BBA) and Manas Ranjan Sahu (BCom) received gold medals from the guests.

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor called upon the students to believe in themselves for a bright future. He advised them to remain grateful to their parents and teachers for their success in academics. The Governor also praised authorities of the varsity for providing moral-based quality education.

Wishing all the students for a bright future, the SEC exhorted the students to work tirelessly for comprehensive development of the state and the country.

University Founder and President Biswajeet Pattanayak gave away citations to students, who successfully cleared MBA for 2019-21 academic session and BBA and BCom for 2018-21 academic session. Vice-Chancellor Kalyan Shankar Ray were present at the event, Among others.
