Baliyatra prohibited in this Odisha district to prevent further spread of Covid

Jagatsinghpur: With an aim to prevent the spread of Covid, the Jagatsinghpur district administration today ordered Baliyatra in different parts of the district will not be organized this year.

As large gatherings are expected during the Baliyatra festival on Kartika Purnima, Jagatsinghpur District Collector Saroj Kumar Mishra today ordered Kalinga Baliyatra at Paradeep, Chelitola Baliyatra at Gopiakuda and such festival in Tirtol will remain prohibited. Also, the festival will not be held in other parts of the district.
