In view of the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic, the entire airport will be made touch-free. Trolley and magnifying glass attached to a stick for checking of tickets will not be allowed at the airport for the time being, said sources.
Worth mentioning, the AAI issued the SOPs a day after Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri announced that domestic civil flight services will recommence in a calibrated manner from May 25. As per the SOPs, passengers will have to mandatorily install Aarogya Setu mobile app, without which they won’t be allowed entry into the terminal building.
