Boat carrying 10 capsizes in Mahanadi

Sambalpur, Mar 4:

Less than a month after the tragic boat mishap in Hirakud reservoir in Sambalpur district resulting in the death of 31 persons, another boat tragedy took place in Mahanadi river this afternoon.

A boat carrying over 10 passengers capsized near Badabazar Sadak Ghat of the Mahanadi river, sources said.

Fire brigade personnel have reached the place and have begun rescue operations.
