Bus fares hiked in Odisha. Here’s new rate

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government today increased bus fares across all categories under the automatic fare adjustment mechanism.

The fares of ordinary and express buses were hiked by 1 paise per km and that of deluxe and AC deluxe buses by 2 paise per km.

As per an official notification, the fare for ordinary buses will now be 65 paise per km as against 64 paise per km and the fare for express buses has been increased to 68 paise from 67 paise per km.

Similarly, deluxe category buses will now charge 91 paise per km as against 89 paise earlier and passengers travelling in AC Deluxe buses will have to shell out Rs 1.13 instead of the existing Rs 1.11 paise per km.
