Bus-pickup van collision leaves 3 dead in Odisha’s Ganjam

Aska: In a tragic incident, three people including a woman died after a bus and pickup van collided head-on in Odisha’s Ganjam district today.

The identities of deceased persons are yet to be ascertained.

Several others were also injured in the fatal accident.

According to reports, the private bus was traveling from Berhampur to Aska and the pickup van was en route to Berhampur from Aska in Ganjam district.

The incident took place near Khadabhaga area. The pickup van was completely damaged in the mishap.

Local sources said that the deceased persons were trapped inside the pickup van. The Aska police and fire services personnel recovered the bodies from the vehicle.
