Casting couch: Girl accuses Odia film producer Akshay Parija of sexually harassing her

Bhubaneswar: Ollywood producer Akshay Kumar Parija has landed in a major controversy as a girl accused him of harassing her sexually on the pretext of giving her a role in a movie.

She has lodged a complaint in this regard with the Laxmisagar police. As per the complainant, Parija established physical relation with the girl against her will at her house by luring her with an offer of a role in a film.

She further alleged that Parija clicked her nude photos and blackmailed her to have physical intimacy.

She also accused the film producer of threatening her to kill her if she married anyone as her wedding was fixed recently.

On the other hand, Parija has lodged a complaint with the Nayapalli police alleging that the girl invited him to her house for dinner, recorded objectionable videos and later started blackmailing him.

She has been demanding Rs 5 crore from him and threatening him to make the video public in the case of non-payment of the money, alleged Parija.
