College girl crushed to death by truck in Odisha

A college student was crushed to death by a truck at Sunapal Chhak along Badamba-Narsinghpur road in Odisha’s Cuttack district this morning. The deceased was identified as Priyanka Jena.

According to sources, Priyanka, a Plus Two student of Mohan Subudhi college and hailing from Khairipanga village here, was hit by a truck when she was on the way to the college on a bicycle. She died on the spot.

Following the incident, irate locals staged road blockade demanding compensation for the family members of the deceased.
