Congress leader’s vehicle attacked in Odisha’s Bhadrak

Bhadrak: Vehicle of senior Congress leader Arya Kumar Gyanendra was attacked at Banta Chhak in Bhandaripokhari area of Odisha’s Bhadrak district today.

According to reports, more than 50 miscreants intercepted Gyanendra’s vehicle and ransacked it around 11 am while he was heading towards an eatery for breakfast.

The attackers also threatened him to leave Bhandaripokhari assembly constituency within eight hours. Gyanendra has alleged that the wrongdoers are BJD supporters.

Police have started investigation into the incident. Following the attack, he was taken to a hotel by cops amid security.
