‘Convergence-2014’ inaugurated at IBCS

Though natural resources are important for the progress of a nation, it is the human intelligence factor which greatly contributes to its development, Suresh Chandra Mantri, a former bureaucrat said today.

Speaking at the inauguration of ‘Convergence-2014’, a two-day annual extravaganza organized by the Institute of Business and Computer Studies (IBCS), the B-School run by SOA University, Mantri said the students and the University were expected to greatly contribute  to the nation’s growth.

Students from several other B-schools and universities are participating in the event which provides a platform for students to excel, among other things, in song and dance performances, antakshari and business quiz.

Among others, vice chancellor of the university Prof RP Mohanty, SOA’s emeritus professor, Prof KC Sahu and dean of IBCS, Prof J Mohapatra also spoke.
