COVID-19: Kindergarten boy donates piggy bank savings to Odisha CM’s Relief Fund

Bhubaneswar: Generosity knows no age. Proving this, a Kindergarten boy student in the state capital contributed all his piggy bank savings to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund as his token of support to the state government in its battle against coronavirus.

Ayush Das, a UKG student of DAV Public School, Chandrashekharpur here, donated Rs 1,137  from his piggy bank to the CMRF.

“I want to donate my savings to the relief fund of honourable Chief Minister. Please..Please  save Odisha and India from COVID-19,” the young contributor said in a velfie.

In the current time of crisis, where cases of lockdown violation by many adults are being reported in various parts of the state, children have come forward and chosen to behave more sensitively and responsibly towards the pandemic.

In the last few days, kids of many doctors and police officials had posted video messages on various social media platforms requesting all the people to stay indoors and abide by the lockdown norms as their parents are away from them, to help the ones who are infected.
