Cuttack: Woman killed at Bus Terminal in Jagatpur!

Cuttack: A married woman was allegedly killed at a bus terminal in Jagatpur area of Odisha’s Cuttack, last night.

The deceased was identified as Kuni Sahu. According to reports, the woman went missing last evening, following which her husband lodged a complaint with police.

Shockingly, she was found dead at the bus terminal, this morning. Police have recovered the body for post-mortem and initiated an investigation.

“We have registered a case while further probe is underway to ascertain the circumstances under which the woman died. A scientific team has been roped in. Preliminary investigation indicates that the woman was murdered. It appears that she was strangled to death with her saree. Post-mortem report will bring a clear picture,” said Arun Swain, ACP, Zone-I, Cuttack.
