Day temperature likely to rise by 3-4°C in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Day temperature across Odisha is likely to rise by 3-4°C during the next 2-3 days, the Regional Meteorological Centre here forecasted.

“Maximum (day temperature) very likely to be above normal by 3-4°C at many places over the districts of Odisha during the next 2-3 days. Due to high surface humidity, discomfort weather likely especially over districts of coastal Odisha,” the Meteorological Centre forecasted.

It has also issued thunderstorm warning (Yellow Warning) for several districts of Odisha for tomorrow.

“Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh, Angul, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Deogarh, Sundargarh, Nabarangpur also heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kalahandi and Nabarangpur,” it said.
