Devotee dies inside Jagannath temple

A 70-year-old devotee from Cuttack died after he collapsed at Anand Bazar inside Sri Jagannath temple here on Sunday afternoon.

According to reports, the deceased, identified as Bhagaban Parmar of College Square area in Cuttack, had gone to the temple for a ‘darshan’ of the Jagannath trinity.

While returning after the ‘darshan’, Parmar suddenly felt giddy and fell down at Anand Bazar inside the temple area.

He was rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital where the doctors declared him ‘brought dead’.
