Dismembered body of woman found in a sack in Odisha

In a gruesome murder, the body of a young woman with its head dismembered was found in a sack from the railway ward of Jindal Stainless Steel plant in Kalinganagar, Odisha today.

The body was found from a bogey of a goods train carrying coal from the Paradip port to the Kalinganagar plant.
There is a suspicion that the woman, in her thirties, might have been raped before being killed, according to police sources.
Police has sent the body for post mortem and samples have been sent to the forensic lab for further clues into the crime and the identity of the woman.
The Kalinganagar police has registered a murder case and have also informed their Paradip counterparts. They are investigating the crime
