Girl goes ‘missing’ in Odisha capital; elopement suspected

Bhubaneswar, Mar 9:

A resident of Niladri Vihar in the Odisha capital today lodged a complaint with Chandrasekharpur police station in the city alleging that his 24-year-old daughter had gone missing since yesterday.

The police said Dasarathi Sahoo lodged a complaint with them saying his daughter Padmavati Sahoo was missing from their house (Quarter No-102) in Sector 2, Niladri Vihar.

“We are investigating the matter acting on the report of the complainant,” the investigating office of the case said.

However, sources said Padmavati had eloped with her lover.
