Bhubaneswar: The Indian Railways, which drew flak for posting an image of ISKCON temple in the name of Jagannath Temple in Puri of Odisha, has issued an apology for the wrongdoing.
Taking to Twitter, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) of West Zone apologised and informed that it removed the agency which posted the picture.
IRCTC sincerely apologise for inadvertent printing of Iskcon temple photograph in place of Shri Jagannath Puri Temple on Bharat Darshan poster. The posters have been removed & concerned agency has been taken up.@RailMinIndia @IRCTC_Ltd @irctceastzone @CoalMinistry

Earlier in the day, several people, devotees and servitors of Jagannath Temple slammed the public transporter for wrongly posting an image of an ISKCON temple in the name of ‘Puri Jagannath Temple’ at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) in Mumbai.
