Mahatma Gandhi’s statue defaced in Odisha’s Talcher

Angul: A statue of Mahatma Gandhi was allegedly defaced in Talcher area of Odisha’s Angul district, last night.

According to reports, red paint was smeared on the statue located on the premises of Mandapal hospital. A local youth association has lodged a police complaint in this regard.

Police have started investigation to identify and nab the wrongdoers. More details awaited.
