Maoists kill one abductee, release two in Odisha’s Kalahandi

Continuing their brutal acts, Maoists killed a person and released two others, whom they had kidnapped, in Odisha’s Kalahandi district, informed SP Brijesh Kumar Rai today.

The deceased was identified as Banamali Naik. His body was found in front of his house this morning.

Notably, 15-20 Maoists had abducted three villagers of of Narlapat village– Hari Pradhani, Banamali Naik and his brother Sudarsan Naik– on March 15 suspecting them as police informers.

While Banamali was killed by the red rebels, Sudarsan and Hari were left unhurt, the SP said.
