Mild earthquake hits Odisha

Phulbani: Mild earthquake was reportedly felt in several areas of Odisha’s Kandhamal and Ganjam district, today.

The intensity of the earthquake was 3.2 on Richter Scale with a depth of 5 KM, official sources said.

The tremors were experienced in Tumudibandha, Daringbadi, Baliguda, Raikia, K Nuagaon, and Sankarkhol in Kandhamal and Bhanjanagar area of Ganjam around 9.45 PM.

No loss of life and property has been reported. Residents of the areas were seen panicking and rushing out of their houses in fear.
