Miscreants loot Rs 3.5 lakh from bike dickey in Odisha’s Jajpur

Jajpur: Unidentified miscreants allegedly looted Rs 3.5 lakh from the dickey of a motorcycle in Odisha’s Jajpur town today.

According to reports, Rabi Narayan Rath of Brundabadpur village under Dasarathpur block in the district had withdrawn the amount from bank for his daughter’s marriage and kept the cash inside the dickey.

The loot took place while he was shopping after parking the two-wheeler. On realising about the theft, he lodged an FIR at the Jajpur police station.

Police have started investigation into the incident.
