Modi congratulates Naveen, assures cooperation for Odisha’s progress

Bhubaneswar: Prime minister-designate Narendra Modi today congratulated Naveen Patnaik for being sworn in as Odisha Chief Minister for a record fifth consecutive term.

Wishing Patnaik and his council of ministers in fulfilling aspirations of people, Modi assured complete cooperation from the Centre for Odisha’s progress.

 

President Ram Nath Kovind spoke to Patnaik and conveyed his good wishes for the development of the state.

BJP leader Dharmendra Pradhan also wished Patnaik on taking oath as the Chief Minister of Odisha.

Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal today administered the oath of office and secrecy to Naveen Patnaik and his council of ministers, comprising 11 Cabinet Ministers and nine Ministers of State, at the swearing-in ceremony here.
