Notification out for Bypoll to one Rajya Sabha seat from Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Secretariat of the Odisha Legislative Assembly today issued notification for the bypoll to one Rajya Sabha seat from Odisha. The polling will be held on June 13.

The seat fell vacant after Subhash Chandra Singh resigned from the post after being elected as the Mayor of the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) in March, this year.

As per the notification, the election will be held from 9 am to 4 pm on June 13. The counting of votes will take place at 5 pm on the very day.
