Odia IPS officer appointed Fire Service DG of Jharkhand

1985-batch Odia IPS Officer Bibhuti Bhusan Pradhan has been appointed as Director General (DG) of Fire Service and Home Guards department of Jharkhand police.

Pradhan had joined the Indian Police Service as Superintendent of Police (SP) of Gaya district in Bihar.

He was appointed as the Special Secretary of Disaster Management and Home department of Jharkhand state.

The Odia IPS officer has been conferred with President’s Police Medal and Police Internal Security Medal for his overwhelming service.

Pradhan was born in Daspalla area in Nayagarh district of Odisha and had studied in Ravenshaw College and Utkal University.
