Odisha: 55 more from Cuttack city contract COVID-19

Cuttack: Another 55 persons from Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) area today tested positive for COVID-19. With this the total number of positive cases in CMC area increased to 1,004.

Of the 55 fresh cases, 47 are home quarantine cases whereas six were local contact cases and two were detected from institutional quarantine centres.

A total of 22 persons tested positive from Behera Sahi containment zone in Malgodown area while 11 cases were from Old Rausapatna containment zone. Three cases were reported from OSAP 6th battalion in Cuttack city.

So far, the CMC area registered the recovery count at 511 whereas the number of active cases stands at 483. A total of 10 COVID-19 patients in the city succumbed to the virus.
