Odisha: Bhubaneswar-bound bus overturns, 25 injured

Angul: Around 25 persons sustained injuries after a Bhubaneswar-bound bus overturned near Samantarapur under Jarpada police limits in Odisha’s Angul district on the wee hours of Thursday.

The ill-fated vehicle was on its way to Bhubaneswar from Jharsuguda. Around 3 am, the driver of the bus lost control over the wheels following which it skidded off the road and turned turtle.

On being informed about the road mishap, police and Fire personnel reached the spot and initiated rescue operation. The victims were admitted to the Angul district headquarters hospital for treatment.
