Odisha BJP leader critical, 4 others hurt as car overturns

Sonepur: BJP Zilla Parishad Chairperson Usha Kumari was critically injured after the four-wheeler she was travelling in overturned at Pandiapalli Chhak in Birmaharajpur of Subarnapur district today.

However, she has been admitted to Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) for treatment.

Besides, four other persons, who were also travelling in the car with the BJP leader, sustained injuries in the mishap. They have been admitted to a hospital in Sonepur.

The incident took place when Usha Kumari was going to Binika from Birmaharajpur for election campaigning.
