Bhubaneswar, Nov 29:
The Khurda district and sessions judge court here today reserved its verdict on the bail plea of Mayurbhanj MP Ramchandra Hansdah, one of the director of Nabadiganta Capital Services arrested by the CBI for his alleged involvement in the Odisha chit fund scam, till December 1.
However, the court rejected the bail plea of Pradip Patnaik, another director of Nabadiganta, informed CBI senior counsel KC Mishra.
This is the second time the court has reserved its verdict on the bail plea of Hansda. On November 26, the court had reserved its verdict on the hearing of the bail pleas of Hansdah and Patnaik for today.
The hearing on the bail plea of former BJD MLA Subarna Naik and former BJP MLA Hitesh Bagartti, along with Nabadiganta director Kartikeya Parida, had earlier been adjourned to December 2.
