Odisha Congress to support Bharat Bandh On September 27

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha unit of the Congress will support the Bharat Bandh call by farmers’ associations on September 27, informed Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee President Niranjan Patnaik.

A decision in this regard was taken at a meeting of various party leaders at Congress Bhawan here, yesterday. Leaders of CPI, RJD, Samajwadi Party and NCP were present at the meeting.

Patnaik further informed that the party will stage a dharna at Master Canteen Square here on September 23 over flood situation and power tariff hike in the state.
