Odisha FAO Football tourney: Super league line up finalised

Twelve teams have moved to the super league round with the conclusion of the last two league matches in the FAO 1^st Division Football League Tournament at Barabati Stadium here today.

The 12 teams are, Mangala Club and Rising Star Club from Group-A, Sunrise Club and Odisha Police from Group-B, East Coast Railway (ECoR) and Kishore Club from Group-C, SAI-STC and Sports Hostel from Group-D, Independent Club and Radharaman Club from Group-E and Radhagobinda Club and Chand Club from Group-F.

Meanwhile, in the last two league matches held today, Chand Club thrashed Young Utkal Club by 8-2 goals.

Abey Owal of the Chand Club was the star performer with five goals while his team mates Ramesh Nayak, Sashikant Sandil and Adil Khan scored one goal each.

For Young Utkal Club, Suman Behura and Santosh Kumar Das scored one goal each.

In the other match, Radhagobinda Club outplayed Morning Club by 7-1 goals.

For Radhagobinda Club, Suresh Kujur scored a hat-trick and Harrison scored two goals while Laxman Murmu and Ambika Lakra scored one goal each.

For Morning Club, Fakira Oram scored the only goal.
