capital hospitalIn a high level meeting held here under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Gokul Chandra Pati, the proposed upgradation project was discussed where Pati asked the Works department secretary to undertake a survey at the Capital Hospital to prepare a master plan.

Notably, the institute will offer master and diploma degrees in medicine and surgery in national board courses.

For this, the government had given administrative approval to a Rs 82.06 crore proposal for infrastructure upgradation of the hospital.

As per Medical Council of India (MCI) guidelines, around 25 acres of land are required for the PG institute for admission of 50 students in the first phase.
