Odisha hikes GIA for teachers, staff by 13.36 %

The Odisha government has increased the grant-in-aid (GIA) for teachers and staff of eligible schools by 13.36 per cent.

The hiked amount will be deposited in the EPF of the teachers and staff.

A notification in this regard has already been issued, informed School and Mass Education Minister Debi Prasad Mishra yesterday.

As many as 31,500 teachers and staff of 3,701 schools will be benefitted with this move of the government.
