Odisha police takes D-Brothers’ sharpshooter to Khuntakata farmhouse

Odisha police today took D-Brothers’ sharpshooter Arif Khan to Khuntakata farmhouse in Athagarh for questioning about the murder of Om and Dipu.

On Tuesday, the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) court  had allowed Commissionerate Police to take Arif Khan on a six-day remand.

Arif Khan, a close associate of the Dhalsamant brothers is an accused in the murder  of  Dipu alias Deepak Mallick and Omm Prakash Swain alias Omm.

Commissionerate Police had in its petition said that since Arif could be able to give a lot of information about the case as well as Dhalsamant brothers he should be sent to remand for seven days.

After the hearing, the SDJM court allowed six days remand of Arif  Khan. He will be present before court on April 25.

Dipu and Om were killed in November, 2013 and their bodies disposed of in Jharkhand. Farooq was shot down in his Malgodown office way back in 2004.
