Odisha Weather Alert: Thunderstorm likely in 11 districts by tomorrow morning

Bhubaneswar: As many as 11 districts of Odisha are likely to experience thunderstorm by tomorrow morning, the Regional Meteorological Centre here forecasted.

Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Angul, Koraput, Rayagada and Kandhamal by 8.30 am of June 6, the Meteorological Centre predicted and issued Yellow Warning for these districts.

Light to moderate rain or thunderstorm very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of south coastal Odisha, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Angul, Koraput, Rayagada and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha, it added.

Temperature Forecast: No large change in maximum temperature (day temperature) at many places over the districts of Odisha during the next 4-5 days.
