Odisha woman burnt to death , daughter sustains severe injuries

Bhadrak, April 6: 

In a painful incident, a woman burnt to death while her 7 year-old daughter has sustained serious burn injuries in their house in Nuapokhari area in Charampa, Bhadrak district in Odisha late Tuesday night.

The deceased has been identified as Ramamani Singh. The girl who has sustained serious injuries has been admitted to Bhadrak hospital.

The police are investigating the reason  behind the woman’s death. Family feud can be the reason behind the death, according to sources. 

Meanwhile, police have detained the husband of Ramamani for interrogation.

Notably, a woman poisoned three of her under 10 years children and consumed poison in Nabanrangpur district, yesterday.
