One-sided affair: Odisha girl sets three motorcycles afire at youth’s house

Baliguda: In an unusual incident, a girl, who reportedly had an one-sided love affair with a youth of Sunapanga under Baliguda police limits in Odisha’s Kandhamal district, allegedly set three bikes on fire at his house late last night.

As per allegation by the youth’s kin, the girl, hailing from K.Nuagaon area in the district, was having an one-sided relation with Chiku, son of Dillip Kumar Nayak of Sunapanga.

Last night around 2 am, a family member saw the three motorcycles parked inside the premises of the house in a burning state. The girl was also noticed near the torched bikes, who later fled the spot on being chased by locals, they alleged.

The youth’s kin further said that the girl had earlier attacked the youth with knife during night while he was sleeping.

A complaint in this regard has been lodged at Baliguda police station.
