Over 100 Maoist supporters surrender in Odisha

More than 100 Maoist supporters surrendered before Malkangiri SP Mitrabhanu Mohapatra today.

According to reports, as many as 145 Maoist supporters, hailing from Kurub and Marigata villages under Kalimela police limits in the district, surrendered before police. They were working for Kalimela Dalam of the banned outfit.

Notably, a Maoist had yesterday surrendered before police in Balangir district. The member of the outlawed group identified as Sanyasi Sargharia was associated with Bolangir-Bargarh-Mahasamund division committee of CPI (Maoist). He was carrying Rs 1 lakh cash reward on his head.
