Over 70 injured in bus accident in Odisha’s Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: More than 70 persons sustained minor injuries as a bus in which they were travelling overturned after being hit by another bus from rear at Katumunda under Parjang police limits in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district late last night.

The victims have been admitted to different hospitals in Parjang and Talcher for treatment.

According to reports, the ill-fated bus, which was on the way to Rourkela from Bhubaneswar, was parked by its driver at Katumunda Chhak. In the meantime, a Bhubaneswar-bound night coach rammed into the bus from back following which it turned turtle.

On being informed, police reached the spot, rescued the injured ones and admitted them to hospital.
