Police Athletic Meet: Odisha women’s relay team bags bronze

The Odisha Police women’s team won a bronze medal in the 4X400 metres relay race in the 62^nd All India Police Athletic Meet at Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh on Friday.
Damayanti Barik, Sukumati Laguri, Reena Baa and Saraswati Chand came third in the race, clocking 3:56:27 seconds.

On Thursday, Renubala Mahanta bagged silver medal in the women’s long jump event by clearing 5.65 metres.

A total of 32 teams are participating in the five-day event that would conclude on November 30.
