Ranji Trophy: Odisha register mammoth victory over J&K

Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir skipper Parvez Rasool’s gutsy century went in vein as Odisha scripted a memorable win beating the hosts by eight wickets in the Ranji Trophy game at GGM Science College Ground here on Tuesday.

The J&K had set 196-run target for Odisha.

For the hosts, Shantanu Mishra (78) and Subhransu Senapati (72) played handy knockouts helping the team reached the target. Govind Poddar was not out at 20.

Earlier in the first innings, Odisha had scored 323 runs while J&K had bundled out for 127 runs. In second innings, the hosts had managed to score 323 runs with decent batting of its middle order batsmen.
