Sangram Mohapatra appointed as Jagatsinghpur Collector

Jagatsinghpur: The Odisha Government has transferred Sangram Keshari Mohapatra, OAS (SAG), OSD, Health & Family Welfare Department and posted him as the Collector & District Magistrate of Jagatsinghpur district, a notification of the General Administration & Public Grievance Department said.

“In exercise of the powers conferred under section 20(1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 (Act II of 1974), the State Government do hereby appoint Shri Sangram Keshari Mohapatra, OAS (SAG) as the District Magistrate in the district of Jagatsinghpur,” the notification read.

The relief of Sangram Keshari Mohapatra, OAS (SAG), which requires clearance from the Election Commission of India, shall be effected subject to the concurrence of the Election Commission of India, the notification added.

The state government had recently appointed former Jagatsinghpur Collector Saroj Kumar Mishra as the Collector of Rayagada district.
