SOP issued for treatment of non COVID patients in 3 Odisha hospitals

Cuttack:  To ensure that non COVID patients avail uninterrupted healthcare services, Odisha Government today issued SOP for three premier hospitals-SCB Medical  College and Hospital, Sishu Bhawan and Acharya Harihar Regional Cancer Centre (AHRCC) here.

The guidelines have been issued to lessen rush and provide hassle-free healthcare services to both indoor and outdoor patients at the three hospitals, said COVID Observer for Cuttack district Saurav Garg after a high-level meeting held at Collector office here earlier in the day.

Besides, the COVID-19 testing capacity of SCB and AHRCC will be increased and large-scale arrangements will be made for containment of the virus, said Garg.

This apart, active contact tracing and surveillance will b conducted in the city and entire district during the lockdown. People having symptoms for the deadly virus will be traced during, said Commissioner of Police Sudhanshu Sarangi.

Doctors of all three hospitals attended the meeting. Among others, COVID-19 Observer Sushant Mohapatra, Collector Bhabani Shankar Chayani and Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) Commissioner Ananya Das were present at the meeting .
