Sr Men’s National Championship: Gangpur-Odisha storm into final

Hockey Ganpur-Odisha stormed into the final of the 4^th Hockey India Senior Men’s National Championship 2014 (Division-B) at Major Dhyan Chand Hockey Stadium in Lucknow today after they beat Namdhari XI by 2-0 goals.

The Odisha team would meet Hockey Maharashtra in the final tomorrow.

The first half went scoreless as both the teams played a tough game. n the second half, Odisha converted two penalty corners by William Xalxo in the 42^nd minute and captain Ashish Anmol Minz in the 59^th minute.

In the second semi-final, Hockey Maharashtra beat Mumbai Hockey Association Ltd by 2-1 goals.
