Students’ union polls in Odisha colleges on Sept 29

Elections to the students’ unions of all colleges and universities in Odisha would be held on September 29.

A notification to this effect would be issued on September 19, sources in the Higher Education department said.

The process for the students’ union elections would begin in the second week of September while the filing of nominations would begin from September 22.

This would be followed by “Why I stand” meeting on September 27.

While the results of the elections would be announced on September 29, the oath-taking ceremony would be held on September 30 after which the all colleges and universities would be closed on account of Dussehra vacation from October 1 to 7.
