Tehsildar attacked during raid against illegal mining in Odisha’s Khordha

Khordha: Bolagarh Tehsildar was today allegedly attacked by 4-5 persons during a raid against illegal murram mining at Narayanipada in Odisha’s Khordha district.

According to reports, a team led by the Tehsildar raided the place after receiving information about the illegal mining. As the team seized two tractors and one excavator, Gopabandhu Ransingh of the locality and some of his associates launched attack on the official.

A complaint has been lodged in this regard with the Bolagarh police. A person has been arrested in this connection while further investigation was underway.
