Three killed in road mishap in Odisha

Sundargarh, Feb 12:

In a tragic incident, three persons were killed when a vehicle in which they were travelling fell from a bridge in the Bonai area of Odisha’s Sundargarh district the early hours this morning.

According to reports, Adarsh Ranjan Das (28) and Dipak Kumar Das (29), the two medicine representatives, were on the way to Bhubaneswar from the Fertiliser Township area of Rourkela in a Chevrolet Enjoy SUV (OD-14A-6231) when the driver Biswanath Sahu (28) lost control of the vehicle on a bridge near Barghat under Chandiposh police station limits.

As a result, the vehicle skidded off and fell under the bridge killing them on the spot.

Following information, Chandiposh police rushed to the spot and bought out the three bodies from the vehicle after cutting the doors.

“The bodies were later handed over to the family members after post mortem in the afternoon,” sub inspector of Chandiposh police station, Digvijay Biswal told OST .
