Bhubaneswar: Several districts of Odisha may get respite from the prevailing heatwave conditions as they are likely to experience thunderstorm today.
Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Angul, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput and Malkangiri, the Regional Meteorological Centre here predicted.
Light to moderate rain or thunderstorm very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nuapada, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Balasore, Bhadrak and Kendrapara, it added.
Temperature Forecast: Maximum temperature (Day temperature) likely to be slightly fall by 2-3°C during the next three days and no large change thereafter at many places over the districts of Odisha. Maximum temperature (Day temperature) very likely to be 40°C and more and above normal by 2-3°C at a few places over the districts of Odisha.
