Bhubaneswar: While it appears to be gloomy all around owing to Covid19 pandemic, there is always light at the end of tunnel. Birla Global University students have secured jobs at several top-notch corporate firms.
For this, the university collaborated with leading sectors like financial services, FMCG, FMCD, Investment banking, Consulting, Banking services, IT, etc. Deloitte, Federal Bank, KPMG, HDFC AMC, SBI Life, TATA AIG, Muthoot Fincorp, AIRTEL, HFFC, Britannia Industries, MARICO, ITC, Berger Paints, Axis Bank, Zee Entertainment, Genesis BCW, AdFactors PR, PR Hub, Etv Bharat, etc.
Further, to exercise the recruitment procedure in a structured and flexible manner and help corporates select right candidates for their firms, the University made arrangements which are as follows:
- Corporates could conduct pre-placement talks and the final placement process on the same day.
- ‘One student, one company’ rule implementation to ensure selected candidates were available to recruiters. As per the rule, once a final offer was made to a student, they had to accept it and reject any other offer that might come their way.
- Same rules were applied for students applying for summer internships.
Based on these criteria, students were selected for placements and summer internships in their respective fields.
