Trader shot dead in Odisha

Panic gripped Odisha’s Cuttack city after a local trader was shot dead by unidentified gunmen this evening.

According to reports, Rabi Lenka, a scrap dealer, was on the way with his bike when two bike-born youths opened fire at him near College Square under Ranihat police station limits.

Lenka, who sustained bullet injuries on his stomach, was rushed to SCB Medical College and Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries after a while.

Following the incident, the commissionerate police has launched a manhunt to nab the assailants.
